Brigadebucher
This is the Baumwollspinnerei, back in the DDR days. The entryway remains, although the banners and texts have (sadly?) been removed. Still, the the left there now stands a cafe, directly in front—I forget—a gallery most likely, and in the interior of the courtyard to the right would be the Archiv Massiv, where I’ve done most of my research on the history of the place as a textile mill. I’ve already mentioned the delightful Host Dietzel and his fantastic memories of what went on in the interior; for a spicier version of what follows you may want to reread his comments. Rock Konzert am Spinnerei
I took a bunch of pictures the other night at a rock concert apparently being held right outside the door of the studio. I suppose the could have equally well gone at the Pilotenkueche blog, but I’ve just uploaded some photos there of girls chasing a dog named Taxi. Read the rest of this entry »
