Jeans Before the Invention of Weaving
Finally got the chance to pile all the threads up into one great mass and play with them a bit. Pretty interesting, actually.
I like the idea that before weaving was invented, this is what humans wore around all day on their nether regions.
Here’s the cover of the Tagebuch I kept while doin’ it, which I didn’t really tell you about, ’cause it’s in German.
And here’s one install view. The Tagebuch sits on the white column off to the right there, other jeans remnants on the wall above. Install’s not completed yet, but this is what I was able to get done before I left Leipzig.
